Our founders, Lisa and Tom, founded Scudl after noticing a clear gap in the offshore recruitment market. Not only did they want to help Australian businesses grow in a way that no one else was doing, but they also wanted to create more opportunities for the highly skilled Filipino tech talent and their families to thrive as well.

One half of the brainpower behind scudl, Lisa brings more than 20 years of IT recruitment experience to the table.

Dedicated to helping Aussie businesses and talented tech professionals thrive, Lisa is driven by the positive impact that scudl has on these people’s lives. For her, building the bridge between these two markets is a no-brainer and a total win-win.

The other driving force in Lisa’s life is her beautiful daughter, Lola. She is her ‘why’ and her motivation to be the best version of herself both at home and at work.

Tom Huckerby

Like Lisa, Tom brings a wealth of recruitment experience to scudl.

For him, the initial spark came when he hired his first Filipino team member and realised the high calibre of tech talent available in the country.

To Tom, every person who is a part of scudl is not just a name or a number, they are real people – and he is proud to be able to have such a profound impact on their lives through his work.

Away from scudl, Tom spends his time with his wife and kids, who he is constantly striving to provide a better quality of life for every day.
